Eastern Iowa Skateboarding (E-IA Skate) is a non-profit organization created and run by skateboarders from Cedar Rapids, IA (the little city that thinks it's big), with help from skaters worldwide. While the U.S. skateboard media is heavily focused on what's happening on the west and east coasts, our focus is to bring some much needed life into the local skateboarding scene here in the midwest. Our targeted area is Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, yet we will do work outside the district (from the Mississippi edge of Iowa to I-35). If you have any ideas or suggestions for skate-related events or ways to help the scene, please let us know!
